Status 5/22
Well, I've got my bug list of 34 items whittled down to five, only one of which is non-trivial. I'd like to bust the remaining ones before the site goes live, but there's no reason not to promote it to "release candidate" status and open it up to the membership at large. Barring veto from the exec committee (and I'll have e-mail out to you guys to supplement this), I'll do that over the weekend.
So here's where things are:
- The event calendar is the only even-remotely-icky page left. I have an update alert for that module, so maybe that'll take care of it. Note that the site is built on a brand-new version of its content engine (http://www.drupal.org), so a lot of the add-on stuff - including the event calendar, and a few other things I want to use - hasn't caught up yet. That'll be reconciled in the next few weeks.
- The EFC logo still has this weird blocky look to it. It shouldn't, and I'm not yet sure why those curves aren't nice and smooth. Also, the logo is a link to the home page, and the mechanics of that aren't quite right in !@^&^ Internet Explorer 6.
- The aforementioned module updates, and I have a trio of minor changes I want to make to speed up page loading.
And that's basically it; everything else is up to snuff. Now we start building the REALLY good stuff. :)
